Anyone for Supper?

Red Earth Kitchen is planning to start a charity supper club in September, and we are looking for fun loving people to attend our first event.   Booking will be essential.

So how does the charity bit work?  We will guarantee to pay a fixed percentage of the meal price to charity each month, and as we will not have a license for the sale of alcohol, you can bring your own, but we would like you to make an additional small donation to the charity for each bottle you open - so the merrier you get the more the Charity gets!

The idea is to hold the club once a month at local venues around the South Hams, or if you want to host an event at home for your special charity we are happy to cater for you.  Each supper will be a set menu, published in advance of the event and will cost around £25 of which we will donate 10% to the charity of our choice.  Sometimes there will be a special regional theme such as "Middle Eastern" or seasonal theme celebrating new crops such as "The first of the Asparagus and Summer Fruits".  Whatever the theme the food will always feature our lovely local produce.

We are planning to hold the first event to co-incide with British Food Fortnight in September at a venue to be confirmed.  The theme for the inagural meal will be  "The Autumn Harvest".  We are just finalising the menu but I can assure you it will be a lovely 3 course meal cooked by a team of foodies.  So if you are interested please email me at delicious@redearthkitchen.co.uk and I will put you on the list and watch this space for updates.

See you there.
